Interpretation of the National Standard "Fully Enclosed Electric Motors Compressors for Household and Similar Heat Pump Water Heaters"
Recently, GB/T 29780-2023 "Interpretation of the National Standard for Fully Enclosed Electric Motors and Compressors for Household and Similar Heat Pump Water Heaters" was officially released. This standard continues to follow the basic structure of GB/T 29780-2013, with corresponding modifications made to the scope of application, technical indicators, test methods, etc. Compared to the previous version, the following modifications have been made. One is to add two types of refrigerants, R32 and R290, remove piston compressors, and add "classification by speed control type", "classification by air supply type", and "classification by working environment temperature". The second is to change the segmented range of the compressor from segmented according to the compressor displacement to segmented according to the compression mechanism heat, and specify the classification of the compressor performance coefficient. The third is to further standardize the testing methods for speed controllable compressors, the regulations on the testing voltage and frequency of constant speed compressors, and the requirements and instructions for the measurement positions of input power and working current.
